Hiya. I have been knitting "secret" Christmas gifts lately, so not much to show. In the spirit of the season, I did get a little somethin' for myself...

Knit Night!
Tuesday was the first Knit Night for my little group of knitters that I have spawned since living here in California. I'm so happy that they enjoy knitting enough to gather together and knit. We had a nice dinner and then we got out the sticks and string. I have a smallish couch... but we managed.
During Knit Night, Eugenia worked on being loose, Elaine knit little yellow tubes, and Sarah finished her very first project! She knit her mom a scarf/blanket for Christmas out of Knitpicks Panache. It's such a warm cushy scarf! And you can wear it so many ways... :) Here Sarah models:Yay for knitting. :) Great job Sarah! I can't wait till next Knit Night.
P.S. I'll try to write up a simple pattern for the Vintage Cloche while I knit myself one. But who knows when that will be... I have some Christmas knitting that will take precedence.
